Casting for «Kill Bill» is underway

Quentin Tarantino's surprising decision to recast the role of Bill in «Kill Bill» has brought his latest movie back into the headlines: Warren Beatty's out, David Carradine is in. Whenever Quentin Tarantino shoots a film, everyone watches. This time they're watching to see who gets the role that will certainly ad them to cult status in Tarantino's latest flick, Kill Bill«. Warren Beatty seemed to have the situation well in hand – although he already has a cult all of his own – but now comes the surprise announcement that he is to be replaced with David Carradine.

Additional cast members will include «Vivica Fox» («Independence Day») as Vernita Green, aka Cobra, Daryl Hannah as Elle Driver, aka California Mountain Snake, Lucy Liu, as O-Ren Ishii, aka Cottenmouth, and Michael Madsen as Budd, akaSidewinder. Additional parts are going to Sonny Chiba, Michael Jai White («Spawn») and LaTanya Richardson, and Tarantino also has a tasty role set aside for himself: as a 150 year-old master swordsman.
