Co-written by the actor, this debut by Edward Rainy is an uplifting and politically correct comedy about cancer, family, friends and life. The script has many ideas, proving to be very likeable and efficient after a sluggish start. But Amis publics suffers on all levels from a lack of balance between comedy and strong drama; half of the dialogue is risky, the casting of the actors is monotonous, and only the idealistic spirit of the last part allows the film to avoid sinking into sentimentality.
