Pomme loves Pierre, Pierre loves Pomme. At least that’s what they have assumed for years. But now that Pomme’s son has left the nest, their marriage begins to fall apart. A storm of fights, lies and verbal attacks is on the horizon. During one of their regular walks in the woods, Pomme decides to stay alone and commune with nature, far from her husband.

Arrête ou je continue insists on keeping a genre alive against all common sense. Sophie Fillières has made a typically annoying French movie: navel-gazing and dull, without any great ambition or idea, with flat cinematography and lighting, both trivial and overblown. The story of a couple falling apart usually offers great potential, but this movie is unoriginal, artificial and the story more or less skeletal. And although some of the dialogue is funny, even Emmanuelle Devos and Mathieu Amalric can't save the story.
