The principal of a French secondary school hires the worst teachers in hopes of getting his pupils better grades.

Holding the sad record of the lowest average grades in the French baccalaureate system, the principal of the Jules Ferry secondary school knows he has to act. If the average doesn't surpass 50% next year, the school will be forced to close its doors and the inspector from the school board will lose his job. His deputy, who has many good reasons why he'd love the position to become available, thinks he's found the solution, albeit somewhat absurd: where the best teachers have failed, perhaps the worst will provide a miracle. Presented as the elite, these terrible specimens of national education are assigned to the senior class. The pupils will be the target of the teachers' experience in chemistry, sports and English. Despite their disastrous teaching methods, the shock troop succeeds in obtaining some surprising results...

Pierre-François Martin-Laval gives history lessons in front of the camera, while slipping into the director's chair for this adaptation of the comic book of the same name. The result is infantile humor straight from 3rd grade recess, with immature situations good enough only for the dunces at the back of the room.
