Le syndrome du Titanic

"I wasn't an ecologist when I started traveling around the world 30 years ago. I saw the planet shrink before my eyes; I went from the carefree belief I lived in an infinite and perpetual world, to realizing it was finite and vulnerable. For almost 20 years, I have fought with others to raise awareness, but mostly to mobilize people in the face of this menace. Today, cinema seems to be the most essential way for everyone, in France and abroad, to become aware of the facts and share my sentiments. So that everyone can see the earth and mankind as they are and as I see them. So that man can again find his rightful place in time and space. This movie is a cry of alarm let us not let time dictate change - it is also a cry of hope - let us take this opportunity to find ourselves again and mobilize humanity's genius and finally give progress real meaning."
