Victor, a film producer, invites 3 actresses to participate in the preparation for a film inspired by Chekhov's “three Sisters”. Confined and isolated in the Hôtel des Salines, in the center of the Rhone Valley, all four become aware that it is not only a matter of making a film. Victor has invented the whole story in order to regain Julie, the mother of his child, whom he deserted ten years previously.
