Dancing Queen

Since being accepted into her school's hip-hop team, the insecure Mina spends every free minute learning to dance. She is supported by the popular hip-hop dancer E.D. Win and her grandmother, who danced herself when she was young. The 12-year-old completely changes her style and reinvents herself so that she'll be respected by the others. But when she is hit by an unexpected stroke of fate, Mina must learn to like her true self as well. This Norwegian children's film by Aurora Gossé tells of peer pressure in the social media age and shows in an inspiring way that you are happier when you just accept yourself as you are.
