An expert of master paintings hires a Texan woman well versed in rodeo to rip off his super-rich employer.

To seek revenge from his super rich and tyrannical employer - an inveterate collector of master paintings -– to whom he offers advice on purchasing Impressionists, the very British Harry (Colin Firth) devises a scam he believes to be neatly packaged. As part of his plan he hires an American rodeo artist (Cameron Diaz), for whom he invents the family background that includes ownership of "Meules de foins au crépuscule" by Monet, a painter missing from the billionaire's huge private collection. But for this very prim Englishman, the wild Texan woman is difficult to manage, especially since his own good manners don't really fit into the shady world of scams and forgeries...

Obvious comedy that plays for the umpteenth time with opposing lead characters that could not be any more different from one another: cowboy boots versus dress shoes, a three-piece suit versus a Stetson, differences in vocabulary and accents, and then of course there are the leads' completely opposing characters. This piece of slapstick written by the Coen brothers is nothing new — neither under the Texan sun, nor in the London fog.
