Leo criticizes Bush for his environmental policy

Hollywood star and heartthrob Leonardo DiCaprio spoke at a Global Green rally in the US, where he urged George Bush to attend the Earth Summit in South Africa at the end of this month. «Mr. Bush, we're asking for your support, to be the president that looks towards the future», said DiCaprio. Although several heads of state, such as Tony Blair and Jacques Chirac, have said they will attend, whether Bush will be at the Earth Summit as well is unclear (and unlikely). DiCaprio also challenged Bush's decision to pull out of the Kyoto Protocol, «despite the fact that we are the biggest economy and the biggest polluter». DiCaprio has long been a supporter of environmental issues.
