Brad Pitt waits for mid-life crisis

The ancient Greek war drama «Troy» is due in Swiss theaters in one week, with Hollywood star Brad Pitt in the role of the relentless warrior Achilles. The 40-year-old actor is currently filming «Ocean's Twelve», the sequel the blockbuster «Ocean's Eleven». Despite this career high, Pitt is calmly awaiting his mid-life crisis.

«Troy» and «Ocean's Twelve» will certainly do well at the box office thanks in part to Brad Pitt, but the actor is not one to rest on his laurels. Pitt is sure that a mid-life crisis is just around the corner, despite his successful career: «I'm sure there are some rude awakenings yet to come. But I like it like that. I like the unknown. It's just more vibrant that way. I'm not a big proponent of happiness. I think it's highly overrated.» Pitt wouldn't says whether he thinks his crisis will include his relationship with his wife, «Friends» star Jennifer Aniston, but in his next project, «Mr. and Mrs. Smith», he plays a bored husband hired to kill his own wife, played by Angelina Jolie.
