If movie buffs had their way, who would they vote into office?

Reel presidents

In a Moviefone.com poll, surfers were asked to choose the top 10 onscreen presidents they would happily vote into office in real life.

Over 1.1 million votes later, it emerged most of their candidates saved the world, from aliens, terrorists or comets. Leading the list, Harrison Ford's brave and cool-blooded «Air Force One» leader (pic) won 24% of the votes.

Closely following with 16% was one of the rare African-American movie presidents: Morgan Freeman in «Deep Impact». Commenting on the runner-up, Moviefone editor-in-chief Scott Robson said: «I don't know if Obama can say Morgan Freeman paved the way, but it hasn't hurt.»

At No.3 was Michael Douglas in «The American President», Bill Pullman reaching No.4 for his role in «Independence Day». Jack Nicholson in «Mars Attacks» and Jeff Bridges in «The Contender» came last.
