The Two Horses of Genghis Khan
In search of lost lyrics to a song, a woman travels to the outer reaches of Mongolia to learn about her family's emotional past. In doing so, she increasingly comes up against the contrast between the modern and the traditional, which divides her homeland more than it cements it. Her trip becomes an Odyssey, during which she gets to know a spiritual country new to her, which will change her consciousness for a long time. A poetic, unhurried film by director Bymbasuren Davaa, which unfortunately doesn't match the charm of her debut, "The Story of the Weeping Camel".
