As the son of a deceased publishing mogul, David Aames' life is about as awful as any rich, attractive yuppy's: women fall at his feet, money is no object and Steven Spielberg comes to his parties. His biggest problem is the grey hairs he plucks out carefully in front of the mirror every morning. David's life takes a major turn when he meets Sofia, who may finally be the love of his life after so many irresponsible affairs. Too bad that Sofia is actually his best friend David's date. And too bad that David's casual lover Julie wants to be more than just that. Wounded by jealousy, she causes a car crash that has devastating consequences for David.
