Shakespeare for Christmas

Juliette Binoche remembers reading Shakespeare to her sister instead of exchanging Christmas presents.

Oscar-winning French actress Juliette Binoche reminisces about being a struggling actress in the early days of her career, too poor to exchange exchange gifts with her sister. «I was living alone with my sister... I was just surviving and yet going to school... but we'd read Shakespeare out loud at Christmas with my mother... because it was our way to have presents and to share something that was related to minds and the spirit.»

Binoche is doing much better these days. She has four projects currently in production – one called «The Other Man» also stars Liam Neeson and is due for international release sometime in 2008.
