King Pacino

Al Pacino continues his limitless passion for William Shakespeare.

After playing out several scenes written by the legendary English playwright for a documentary about the Bard's effect on the modern world called «Looking for Richard», and starring as «The Merchant of Venice» in a feature film, Al Pacino will play yet another Shakespearean character: King Lear.

The tragedy has already been adapted several times to film, most notably by Jean-Luc Godard, Akira Kurosawa, Orson Welles and Laurence Olivier.
