A Japanese «Sex and the City» fan has spent a fortune on two VIP ticket to the premiere of the movie version of the legendary TV show.

The woman plunked down $52,100 on eBay for the privilege of bringing along a friend. The two will be styled and dressed by professionals, and then accompanied to the premiere by Kristin Davis.

The money goes to Oxfam, the charity that fights hunger around the world. Colin Farrell and Scarlett Johansson have both offered their services for similar promotions, with all proceeds going to the institution.
