Raised by a French mother and an Algerian father, Hanna and her brother have become two completely different people. As pathologically nice as her parents, Hanna, an HR manager, is incapable of hurting anyone and does everything she can for those around her. Her brother, meanwhile, rejects his French first name and calls himself Hakim, focusing on his Algerian roots and the Muslim religion. An unforeseen event unites the two.

Five years after sharing a César for best screenplay with her partner Michel Leclerc for The Names of Love, which he directed, this time it’s Baya Kasmi’s turn to get behind the camera for her own version of a politically engaged but incorrect movie. I’m All Yours is just as good if not better than the previous one. Thanks to irresistible humor, intelligent good-heartedness and astounding finesse, the director composes a happy and colorful symphony that sheds light on a complex social reality. Starring an excellent Vimala Pons who is a true comic treasure, and a cast that is absolutely perfect, hilarious and true.
