Walk of Shame

Movie Rating: Geoffrey Crété

After a wild night, a young woman has to get to an interview for her dream job as a TV anchor.

When she gets passed over for a job as a TV anchor and discovers her boyfriend has left her, Meghan Miles lets her friends talk her into going out on the town to forget her problems. When she wakes up next to gorgeous bartender Gordon, she finds out her competitor is out of the running and that she has an interview for the job in 8 hours. The only catch: she’s stuck out on the street, without a car, money or ID in a slutty dress – and a dangerous part of town...

Walk of Shame has one positive aspect: the excellent Elizabeth Banks who lets her talents shine as the lead in this comedy. Unfortunately, the screenplay is uninspired, with situation comedy set-ups reminiscent of everything else in the genre. Luckily there are enough good moments to make this unpretentious comedy a relative success.
