The delightfully nutty trio is back, this time directed by Sean Anders. Along the same lines as the first installment – with humorous references to the original – the guys decide to go entrepreneurial and become their own bosses. They may no longer have horrible superiors, but they do have to deal with super-rich investors like Christopher Waltz who plans to steal their ideas and leave them with nothing. Dale, Kurt and Nick decide that all the only thing they can do now is to kidnap his son Rex (Chris Pine) in exchange for ransom. Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis reprise the clichéd roles that worked so well for them last time.This American comedy takes advantage of its trademarked humor, with each character getting stuck in situations more off-the-wall than the next. Along for the ride again is Jennifer Aniston, as Dale’s sex-crazed former boss, and Jamie Foxx playing to all the stereotypes as “MotherFucker Jones”. A black comedy that sticks to the rules and begs to be watched over and over with friends.
