Stephanie Plum (Katherine Heigl), a young lingerie saleswoman tired of not making enough money, decides to change careers and talks her bail bondsman cousin into giving her a job as a bounty hunter. Her first big job: a former childhood boyfriend (Jason O'Mara) who's now a cop accused of murder and on the run in an attempt to find witnesses who will prove him innocent.
