Left by his morally bankrupt mother as a child, Franck (Elijah Wood) overcomes his shyness to meet girls whom he scalps on their first date. As the owner of a mannequin restoration shop, he has a storeroom in the back filled with effigies of his victims wearing the scalps he took. But when he meets Anna, a photographer whose new exhibition gives life to mannequins through a light installation, Franck becomes obsessed.
