A roofer, «esthetic automobile» salesman and stripper, Mike (Channing Tatum) calls himself an entrepreneur. He dreams of becoming a furniture designer and puts money aside to achieve his dream. He befriends young Adam (Alex Pettyfer), who's down on his luck and living with his sister Brooke (Cody Horn). Mike nicknames Adam “the kid” and introduces him to a life at Club Xquisite, which specializes in male strip shows for women. Adam quickly becomes a crowd favorite and lets himself be carried away by fame and the excess that comes with it.
