In an unnamed dark and rainy American city, a dry cleaner calls on two losers - a wannabe wiseguy and an Australian junkie - fresh out of prison to rob an illegal poker game. Once the job is done, the organizer of the game, a mafia underling, is severely beaten because the mob suspects him of heisting their game.
