Mounir (Tahar Rahim) is a young Moroccan who has lived in France since being adopted by a French doctor (Niels Arestrup), who married his sister so that she could legally stay in the country. Then Mounir meets Murielle (Emilie Dequenne) and falls madly in love. The young woman comes to live with him and soon they are a family with four children. Confronted by the latent authoritarianism of the doctor who supplies them with so much comfort, the couple finds it hard to go their own way – with the line between generosity and imprisoning morals too fine and severely binding. As her husband begins to withdraw completely, the young mother sees only one way out of this oppressive situation... Go to movie review from Agathe Tissier
