In 1891, Sherlock Holmes investigates a series of bomb attacks throughout Europe. He soon finds out the perpetrator is none other than his nemesis, the legendary Professor Moriarty. Holmes goes to Dr Watson for help, but he's thinking only of getting married and settling down. Under the pretext of one last night as a bachelor, Holmes throws him a party at his club where, strangely, none of Watson's friends turn up, but a fortune teller puts them on the trail of Moriarty's next victim...
