Wide awake before his alarm goes off in the morning, Brandon Sullivan is already stressed by what will consume his entire day: his obsession with sex. The young and very attractive New Yorker (Michael Fassbender) has everything going for him: a good job, a beautiful apartment and as many girls as he wants. But his perfect image hides a cruel reality: he can never have a real relationship, because of his insatiable appetite for sex. His handicap eats away at him even more when his alcoholic and suicidal sister Sissy (Carey Mulligan) comes to him for help...

English director Steve Mc Queen teams up again with his Hunger star, the excellent Michael Fassbender, letting him loose in the urban jungle of New York, like a hunter always on guard for his next prey. An icy portrait of a modern man who is best avoided.
