Nick's sadistic superior regularly humiliates him by promising a promotion he'll never get; Kurt is forced to work with the druggy and unethical son of a former boss he liked very much; and Dale, who's in love with his fiancée and doesn't want to cheat on her, is being sexually harassed by his nymphomaniac boss.
