In 1940, a group of men from different countries escape from one of Stalin's camps. Unable to cross Russia to the west, they take off on a journey over 10,000 km, across first Siberia, then Mongolia, the Gobi Desert, Tibet and finally the Himalayas to reach British India. This incredibly difficult journey will cost some their lives while others will give up on their own. But for all of them, an instinctive drive will allow them to put one foot in front of the other for weeks on end, surmounting inconceivable physical conditions. Go to movie review
