The bass player in a band, Scott Pilgrim is a shy young man of 22 going out with a 17-year-old to try to forget his last girlfriend, which gets him a lot of grief from his sister and his gay roommate. But soon he falls for Ramona, a gorgeous fuchsia-haired New Yorker newly arrived in Toronto. She tells him that if he wants to win her heart, he has to take on the League of 7 Evil Exes – her former boyfriends.
