After mixing up their luggage by mistake at the Atlanta airport, a high-strung architect named Peter and a pathetic misfit smoker named Ethan who dreams of become a famous actor are both taken to a back room and interrogated. Deprived of his briefcase and wallet, which are both still on the plane to Los Angeles, Peter is forced to accept a ride in Ethan's car and hope he will make it home in time to be present at the birth of his first child, due in three days' time...
