Banned from the small screen since she became a little too critical of Silvio Berlusconi (in 2003), Italian comedian Sabina Guzzanti decided to reinvent herself as a crusader against her sworn enemy by filming this investigation. In Draquila, she takes a page from Michael Moore to accuse Berlusconi of having exploited the tragedy of the Aquila earthquake of April 9, 2009 by launching a vast resettlement program (conceived of long before the earthquake) to improve his image and enrich his cronies with public funding: Sicilian mafia barons faithful to him over decades who are still very active in laundering the money reinvested in construction.
