Young director Arvin Chen weaves together several plotlines in his odd comedy: an old mob boss wants to settle down with his young lover and find a successor for his real estate business and a fall guy for one last con; Kai tries to learn French from the books at a local shop so he can follow his (ex?) girlfriend to Paris, unaware of the potential of its salesgirl; a small group of bizarrely costumed crooks tangles with two ridiculous cops.
