After years of the same rut and running after the kids, a middle class bi-national couple in Zurich realizes the bloom is off the rose. This simple film debut by Zurich director Barbara Kulcsar is realistic and sober, winning the 2010 Zürcher Filmpreis despite its tiny budget. Kulcsar's movie is an unexpected antidote to the silly “comedy” Liebling, lass uns scheiden that is also currently in theaters.
