The story of Simba the lion cub, who is destined to become king of the jungle after his father Mufasa, is one of the most successful Disney movies of all time. Taking bits from Greek tragedy, Bible stories and Shakespeare's «Hamlet», Mufasa is killed by his jealous brother Scar, who makes Simba responsible for his father's death.
