A mysterious plague has affected specific regions of the planet. But before anyone even has time to fully notice, the sick have taken over everything, attacking populations in crazed barbaric fury, convulsing madly and biting their fellow human beings, infecting them on the spot and turning them, in turn, into wild unstoppable flesh-eating zombies. One U.N. inspector (*Brad Pitt*) might have the key to humanity's survival, but he must start by facing death, and death, it seems, comes in aggressive and pretty fast hordes.
