Weakened by WWII, the US recruits every young man on two legs. Only the weakling Steve Rogers (*Chris Evans*) isn’t accepted, even after several attempts. Instead, he’s hired by a German scientist in exile (*Stanley Tucci*) for a top secret experiment. The rail-thin young man is injected with a blue liquid which turns him into a red, white & blue muscleman and secret weapon against the Nazi psychopath Johann Schmidt (*Hugo Weaving*).
