Susan Sarandon's daughter strikes out for herself

Susan Sarandon and her daughter, Eva Amurri, have appeared alongside in one film. Eva has decided, however, that once is enough as she has ambitions of her own and does not want to go places just on the back of her mother's fame.

In the movie «Banger Sisters», Susan Sarandon («Thelma & Louise», «Dead Man Walking») and her 17-year old daughter, Eva Amurri, for the first time play mother and daughter. It turns out that this will be the first and last time. «She won't work with me anymore,» revealed Sarandon. Mother and daughter had already been offered a few other films together, but Eva refused even to look at the scripts. Back in 1998 Eva had passed up on the offer of playing her mother's daughter in the film «Stepmom» in order not to miss out on lessons. She now has plans to launch an acting career of her own – albeit without her famous mother.
