Burton's love of the monkeys

In their film «Planet of the Apes,» director Tim Burton and producers 20th Century Fox shied away from depicting a love affair between the human hero and a female monkey. But this hasn't stopped Burton from falling in love with that same monkey-woman.

The news agency Reuters reported that Tim Burton has fallen in love with one of the actresses from his film «Planet of the Apes». But anyone thinking immediately of the ex-model Estella Warren would be mistaken. Unlike Mark Wahlberg, Burton isn't interested in big-busted women. Helena Bonham Carter is the one he's chosen. She played the female monkey who helped Mark Wahlberg to escape. In love with the pilot, she was also the film's romantic focus. The English actress was together for many years with actor and director Kenneth Branagh. Another actress from «Planet of the Apes» was not so lucky: Burton's former life-partner Lisa Marie Smith also took her turn in front of the camera in his latest film. The right make up would seem to count for a lot!
