Tom Hanks makes the world a present with another beautiful film, the survival story “Cast Away”. And his friends have received pretty presents too.

While the world is presented with the latest Tom Hanks film, “Cast Away”, his friends have time to mull over the Christmas present Hanks gave to them. Thematically linked to the film, it has to be said that the present does not feature in the desert island film where Hanks grew a massive beard: he gave all his friends a radio which needs winding up every thirty minutes. And Hanks stated that his flair for simple and reliable gadgets predates the making of “Cast Away”.
