Making babies isn’t hard – having kids is harder. Comedy about being a father starring Matthias Schweighöfer.

Felix doesn’t like being tied down, he hops from one low-level job to another and won’t let himself be pinned down in his private life either. And so his life changes drastically when his annoying brother Henne turns up with his ferret Karsten – and the animal bites Felix in the gonads while he’s having sex. Now unable to conceive, Felix panics and goes off in search of the sperm he donated to a fertility clinic. His DNA turns out to be inside an attractive TV host named Maren.

In the past few years, Matthias Schweighöfer has given Til Schweiger a run for his money as one of Germany’s big movie stars. His movies attract millions of movie-goers, who are drawn also by his boyish charm. Strong colors, clearly laid-out conflicts and an all-too obvious catharsis are just as important in Schweighöfer’s films, making audiences nostalgic for productions that aren’t so over-processed.
