When Mindy (Chloë Grace Moretz) goes out to catch bad guys one night as Hit-Girl, she gets caught and decides to hang up her costume. So Kick-Ass goes in search of a new partner and meets the "Justice Forever" gang, headed up by Colonel Stars and Stripes (Jim Carrey). This catches the attention of Chris D'Amico (Christopher Mintz-Plasse), who now calls himself "The Motherfucker" and wants only one thing: revenge on Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl for the murder of his father.

What starts off as a harmless high school comedy turns into a colorful superhero flick with absurd humor and great action. Fans of over-the-top comic book adaptations will love Kick-Ass 2. A great plus is comedic master Jim Carrey as the insanely fun Colonel Stars and Stripes, whose motto sums up the movie: "I try to have fun, otherwise what’s the point?"
