70 years ago, the Formics, a.k.a. “Buggers”, an insectoid alien race, attacked earth. And it's only a matter of time before the ant-like creatures come back to finish the job. To make sure mankind is prepared, the most intelligent and able children are shipped off to a remote space station, a training camp where they learn to fight the impending invasion. One of the toughest instructors is Colonel Hyrum Graff (Harrison Ford), who notices one of the newly recruited children: Ender Wiggin, who completes his military training with excellence. Ender is picked to lead the other soldiers into battle.

Gavin Hood adapts the 80's cult novel for the big screen – and fails all the way down the line. The movie offers not much more than dialog that is involuntarily funny Film, an obvious plot and a message that is morally dubious. Apocalypse Now with children, aimed at a young audience.
