Justin Bieber - Never Say Never

The life and career of today’s It Boy: Justin Bieber.

From the prodigy who could play several instruments as a young child, to the star adored by millions of prepubescent teens thanks to YouTube videos and sold-out Madison Square Garden concerts, this documentary takes a close look at the phenomenon that is Justin Bieber.

Unfortunately, the style is mostly hagiographical. Instead of analyzing Justin Bieber the commercial commodity as a product of society, the film comprises a series of repetitive and sterile interviews with the star's entourage – and fails to talk directly with the subject himself. Despite its superficial tone and pointless 3D effects that add kitsch wherever possible, Justin Bieber - Never Say Never is sure to attract hordes of hysterical young girls of the kind seen for more than an hour during this documentary.
