Comedy DramaIn the autumn of his life, Jacobo, a piano tuner with a reputation throughout Catalonia, confides his existential doubts to his doctor in hopes of curing his insomnia: he tells him that throughout his life, the pianos of many of his clients had magically tuned themselves without any help from him. But his insomnia has now made that impossible. Late one night, Jacobo sees a man his own age in his living room, dressed in a bathrobe, who manages to escape downstairs. Panicking, Jacobo tells his wife about the intruder, but she tells him he's seeing things...
