The Mummy returns again

Universal to produce a third installment of «The Mummy», directed by Rob Cohen.

Director Rob Cohen will most likely direct the second sequel to «The Mummy». Known for his high-testosterone action movies («xXx», «The Fast and the Furious»), Cohen will replace Stephen Sommers, who directed the first two episodes, «The Mummy» and «The Mummy Returns». The original stars, – the excellent Brendan Fraser («Crash», «Bedazzled») and the voluptuous Rachel Weisz («The Fountain») – will also be back for more creepy fun.
