New Pink Panther sequel

Mythical movie studio MGM has been in and out of hot water in recent times, as it has been bought and sold by a series of investors, such as Crédit Lyonnais and billionaire Kirk Kerkorian, before being purchased by competitor Sony. Although its new product line is somewhat humble, the studio has been making the most of its rich back catalogue, which includes such classics as «West Side Story», «Ben-Hur», «Rain man», «Platoon», the James Bond franchise and even «Rocky», by making remakes of some of them, like «The Thomas Crown Affair» and «The Pink Panther», currently playing in theaters. On the heels of these successes, MGM has announced it will make a series of sequels, with Pierce Brosnan and Steve Martin ready set to star again as Thomas Crown and Inspector Clouseau, respectively. The only thing left is to see whether Steve Martin lives up to the standard set by Peter Sellers.
