Eva Green stays international

Eva Green will star alongside Nicole Kidman in the movie adaptation of the first installment of Philip Pullman's «His Dark Materials» trilogy.

After starring in Bernardo Bertolucci's excellent «The Dreamers», «Kingdom of Heaven» with Orlando Bloom and the upcoming James Bond flick «Casino Royale», Eva Green seems set on an international career. The daughter of French actress Marlène Jobert has signed on for the movie adaptation of «The Golden Compass», the first installment of Philip Pullman's «His Dark Materials» trilogy, co-starring Nicole Kidman. Pullman's trilogy deals with a young woman who undertakes an arduous journey to the far north to save her best friend.
