Handed down from mother to sons

Jodie Foster hopes her children become directors, not actors.
The actress and director states she would nonetheless be supportive of her sons Kit and Charles, aged 6 and 9 respectively, if they would rather go into acting than directing.
«When I talk to my sons about movies I tell them about the camera, about editing, or the scene where they did the visual effects, and explain how they do it. I want them to love films because I love films.»
The next Jodie Foster movie, «The Brave One», is due out in Swiss theatres on September 26. In it she plays a mixture of Charles Bronson in «Death Wish» and Robert De Niro in «Taxi Driver» - the 1976 movie that provided her with one of the most remarkable roles of her career.
