"Prince of Persia" adaptation

The video game «Prince of Persia» is slotted for adaptation to the big screen, to be produced and directed by the team of Michael Bay and Jerry Bruckheimer, and promises to be packed with action.

Hated by movie critics throughout the world for producing what are seen as junk movies, Jerry Bruckheimer and director Michael Bay have generated enormous profits for Disney Studios with movies such as «Bad Boys I and II», «The Rock», «Pearl Harbor» and «Armageddon».

The dreaded duo will work together for the sixth time on a new project to bring the video game «The Prince of Persia» to the big screen. Ian Somerhalder, star of the TV series «Lost», has the pole position to take on the lead in the super-production, which is scheduled for release in the summer of 2009.
