Woody Allen hires Penelope Cruz

Penelope Cruz is set to star in the next Woody Allen comedy, which will be shot in Barcelona this summer.

After Paris, Venice and London, New York director Woody Allen continues his journey throughout Europe: he plans to film his next comedy in the Spanish city of Barcelona. The «Annie Hall» director has hired the muse of Pedro Almodovar, Penelope Cruz, to star. But first, Allen's upcoming «Cassandra's Dream», with Ewan McGregor and Colin Farrell, is scheduled for European release in the fall.
